VEHICLE COLLISION: 2 Drivers Hurt in Oxnard Head-on Collision

Oxnard – At least two people were hospitalized Tuesday morning after a head-on collision on Auto Center Drive in Oxnard, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, a driver was heading east on Auto Center Drive at around 7 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, veered to the road’s center median and crashed into several trees.

The vehicle ended up on the opposite lanes and collided with an oncoming vehicle. Both drivers sustained moderate injuries and were brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.

It was unclear to officials what caused the driver to lose control of his car.
