Credit Union Closes Several Branches, Workers to be transferred

Orange County - Employees of Wescom Credit Union’s fourth branch in the county and five other branches in Southern California will be offered jobs despite the closing of its branches in January as a part of the company’s overall cutbacks.

The soon-to-be closure in Anaheim Hills followed the company’s shutting down of its Santiago Hills along with 11 other branches since last year.

The closure of at least six branches in California on January 29 is expected to aid in the company’s long-term financial plan.

Wescom Credit Union’s 56 branches system wide is currently down to only 29 branches.
