TRUCK ACCIDENT: Driver Killed in Visalia Big Rig Accident

Visalia - A 31-year-old man suffered fatal injuries early Friday after the 2005 Dodge pickup he was driving collided with a big rig on state road 99, the California Highway Patrol said.

The victim, who was from Bakersfield, suffered severe concussions and died at the accident scene.

According to reports, the pickup truck driven by Larenzo Munoz, 29, was heading north on state road 99 at about 54mph when the Dodge collided with it at around 3:30am.

Investigators are identifying the exact speed of the Dodge which caused it to rear-end the semi-truck.
