DUI-related Accident: Drunk Driver Injured after Smashing onto Pole

Monterey – A man suspected to be drunk was taken to the hospital for minor injuries after he crashed into a pole near Monterey Park Hospital, early morning the other day.

Police said the accident occurred near the intersection of Cadiz Street and Ynez Avenue. The man unidentified man was driving alone.

The victim was later released after being issued citation tickets.

The police are set to investigate the cause of the accident.
