WORKPLACE ACCIDENT: Lineman Dies While Working

California – A 26-year-old Pacific Gas and Electric Co. worker died while working in an underground electrical vault in Benicia Wednesday morning, reports said.

Maximilliano Martinez from Windsor was reportedly working as general construction lineman when he was electrocuted at around 10 a.m. in Panorama Drive. Martinez was said to be in a vault with 12,000-volt power lines when the accident occurred.

Authorities are yet to find out other details regarding the accident. No one else was reportedly injured and PG&E is said to be cooperating with the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
