Police in Hunt for a Driver who hit, Killed a Bicyclist

South Los Angeles-- Police are currently hunting for a motorist who fled the scene near Griffin and 31 Streets, after hitting a bicyclist who later on died at the hospital.

Los Angeles police officer Greg Ortiz said the motorist onboard a dark-colored vehicle hit a 30-year old bicyclist who was riding a BMX bicycle around 1:30 am immediately left the scene.

The bicyclist died shortly after he was taken to California Hospital due to "multiple traumatic injuries," another police said.

Though police failed to find a witness to the incident, their investigation on the whereabouts and the identity of the motorist is still ongoing.
