Rockhard Weekend Recalled for Sulfoaildenfil
November 17, 2009
Atlanta, Georgia - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has found sulfoaildenfil from Rockhard Weekend, a dietary supplement, when it conducted a lab analysis recently.
Rockhard Laboratories, manufacturer of Rockhard Weekend, found out their raw ingredients which came from China were tainted with the sulfoaildenfil.
As a result, the drug manufacturer immediately recalled the dietary supplement sold nationwide. The blister packs and bottles—T12 705 08 (exp: 10/11) / T12 705 09 (exp: 3/12, 8/12), 3ct Bottle: R417 0509 (exp: 09/12) and 8ct Bottle: T237-0509 (exp: 06/12)—were pulled out from the shelves.
Sulfoaildenfil was used for erectile dysfunction and the active drug ingredient was not included in the product label. It was considered as unapproved drug by FDA. It might cause harm when it is mixed with the nitrates that were also in the prescription drugs. It might also extremely lower the blood pressure.
