Drowning accident: Seven-year-old girl drowns in Pacific Palisades pool

Los Angeles - A seven-year-old girl was drowned in a swimming pool at 17700 West Calle de Palermo in Pacific Palisades on Sunday at 2:33 p.m.
The young girl was found unconscious at the bottom of the pool by three women who pulled her up and tried to administer CPR, yet she remained unresponsive. Los Angeles County rescuers rushed her to UCLA Medical Center, but she was declared dead on arrival.
Reports said that the girl was supposed to visit a family, and was with other kids standing by the swimming pool. The unidentified youngster was fully clothed at the time of accident.
Police authorities are still investigating the details of the accident.
Los Angeles County responded to four other drowning accidents in the community as the high temperature prompted families to engage in swimming activities.
