Unilever Gives Full Refund for Slim Fast

Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey — Unilever will give a full refund to all consumers who purchased the Slim Fast ready to drink products because of a possible contamination of bacteria.

The products were tested for quality control and they were found to be unsafe for consumption. Unilever voluntarily recalled all products and was supported by the Food and Drug Administration.

The drink manufacturer is recalling all those in cartons and cans that are 325 ml because it might have bacillus cereus. Consumers who drink Slim Fast ready to drink products that were contaminated may have diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. It is possible also to have all of the above effects.

Unilever said they will produce the drink products again and distribute them after they have provided a solution to the issue of contamination. They advised consumers to dispose the products they bought and report to the company to receive a full refund.
